GENERAL GOAL:

To foster universities to develop internationalization in their IES (Instituto de Ensino Superior – Higher Education Institute) through education, research and extension to overcome geographic borders and teach foreign language for students, professors and university workers.
 

SPECIFIC GOALS:

1. Enable the team of coordinators to manage courses in their IES;
2. Enable the team of language instructors to conduct specific courses;
3. Offer specific courses in punctuation to prepare for international examinations of English Language;
4. Offer English courses in general, academic English, English for specific purposes and others, in order to increase publications in international journals of high impact, enhance the participation of academic community at international events and prepare the academic community for the international scene of research, considering the cultural-linguistic diversity;
5. Offer courses in strategic areas of university’s international development.
6. Encourage partnerships with English speaking countries and create joint actions for qualifications, reinforcement and extension of PFI.
